Who we're looking for

Five lines. All non-negotiable.

We don't hire to fill a gap on an org chart - we don't have one. We hire when someone clears every line below. For the right people we are a great place to work.

Expert

Senior, or this isn't it.

We don't count your years - we read what you've built. Things you shipped, broke, fixed, and owned at 2 a.m. No "fast learners", no titles inflated to land a bigger paycheck. The work has to be louder than the logos on your CV - and louder than the date you started.

Tools

AI-native, not AI-curious.

You are using AI tooling every day, and you know exactly where its limits are. The model writes fast; you catch the issues and never ship a line you can't stand behind. Speed is the easy part. Steering is the job.

Stack

No favourite language.

You pick the technology that fits the problem, not the one that fits your CV. Today it's Go, next month Node. The stack is just a tool. You are the master.

Direct

You talk to the client.

No account manager to hide behind, no PM to translate. You message the people paying for the work, hear "that's wrong" to your face, and say "that won't work" right back. If a layer between you and the client sounds safer, this isn't the room.

Fit

You'd fit the room.

Flat, async, no patience for meetings that should have been a message. You decide fast, work fast and write things down. If that's already you, we are each other's people.

The work

No standups. No commute. No theatre.

What you're signing up for, beyond the code. The studio has run this way since 2016 - we're not about to change it for one more hire, however good.

The pay

Ship more. Earn more.

No salary to negotiate, no annual review theatre. Your pay tracks the pods you carry - a flat rate per pod, the same for everyone. Meritocracy, in plain arithmetic.

Model

Your pay tracks your pods.

Hold one pod, you're paid for one. Hold three because you ship like three, you're paid for three. The rate per pod is fixed and public - the only thing that changes is how much you choose to carry. No set salary, no quiet ceiling over the people who out-ship the room.

Up

Raises you give yourself.

Got the throughput for another pod? Take it, and your pay increases in the same month. No cycle to wait for, no case to lobby for. The lever is in your hands.

Honest

No politics in it.

You can't talk your way to more, and you can't get quietly underpaid for doing more. Output is the only lever - exactly how we'd want to be paid too.

  • You're after a title and an org chart to climb. We don't have one.

A repo, a product, the thing you're proudest of having shipped. A CV is fine, but the code is what we are looking for. If it's all behind an NDA, tell us about it instead.

No HR screen, no panel of strangers. One conversation with someone who'd actually work beside you. We want to know how you think, how you decide, and what you do when it all goes sideways.

A small, scoped piece - the kind a pod ships in a day. You build it, then demo it back to us, the way every week ends here. Then we both know.
